Free legal advice

Since the Legal Aid Act on 1 January 1994 and the spending cuts on subsidized legal aid at the same time, the amount of people looking for legal aid from legal advice centers has only gone up. The so-called ‘juridification’ of society has not yet ended. Among the people, the need for an independent, objective and accessible body which they could ask for help on different issues, especially legal ones, is still clearly present.

The Gennep Foundation for Legal Advice and Discrimination Reporting is a non-profit organization. Its goal is to help the people living in the region of Gennep if they are facing legal issues. We could help you out by providing you with an advice free of charge or by redirecting you to another body or authority which may be able to assist you.

The majority of the Center’s staff are law students and most of them study at the Radboud University in Nijmegen. All of their work are performed voluntarily for which they get practical experience in return.

Please do not hesitate to visit our office during one of our walk-in hours, if you have questions for us. You do not need to make an appointment. The Gennep Legal Advice Center is at your service!
